Guam Museum (Department of Chamorro Affairs)

Guam Museum and Chamorro Educational Facility is a 6,200-square-foot gallery featuring interactive, state-of-the-art technology and the display of Guam’s history and culture.

It is designed to educate and entertain visitors with over 300 curated artifacts, multiple audios, thousands of images, and short films carefully pieced together in seven different galleries. The panels are written in English and Chamorro and are accompanied by QR codes that translate the text into Japanese, Korean, and Mandarin Chinese.

Galleries 1, 2, and 3 are filled with local artwork in various mediums, depicting notable eras from Guam’s history, culture, and society. A video of Governor Eddie Calvo greeting visitors as they walk through the artwork toward the Orientation Theater. 

The Guam Museum is open daily from 10 am to 4 pm.
